nice modern furniture, 24hours working front desk, good location
bathroom is veeery small breakfast not worth price
Great location, 20 min walk to Gara du Nord and 20 min walk to Louvre; lots of restaurants in the area for dinner, Rock Cafe just round the corner, easy access, friendly stuff, european healthy breakfast, good value for money!
The pictures don't reflect the rooms
Great location, we walked during the whole trip and having one of the big boulevards around the corner helped navigation Alot. Just outside the hotel there was a Carrefour (store with food, wine and other essentials like toothpaste etc) and very prizeworthy. Slightly tarnished hallways but the rooms were great and newly renovated, that goes for the breakfast room aswell. Staff was nice depending on who was working, the bald man with glasses didn't seem to like his job, therefore not that nice. Nothing that ruined the visit though :) Book this hotel if you plan to do what paris is meant for, exploring!! You're just sleeping and eating breakfast at the hotel anyways ;)
Well even though french breakfast usually is rather scarce and nothing special, they should include the breakfast in the price. The actual breakfast if we're not taking staff and dishes in calculation isn't worth 6€ per meal... More like 3€ seems more reasonable. The archway outside the hotel attracted some unpleasant people in late evening, nothing that bothered us really.
Standard Parisian hotel, convenient location, clean and compact.
Quite dated and worn. Very small rooms and the cul de sac in which it's located within can occasionally attract some unsavoury characters.
Cute and comfy rooms. Good aesthetic for a two star hotel. Also booked a shuttle to the airport with the hotel. Good service, driver on time and cheap.
Elevator was not working well and almost seems dangerous. Some maintenance is needed.
Be careful with bathroom size.
Our second stay at the Victoria. Location suits us because we love walking in Paris - comfortable walk to Seine, grands magasins, and Montmartre. Interesting bistros and shops nearby especially in the Passages. Close to Opera. Good access to buses and Metro. Breakfast is French style and good value. Renovated rooms Paris size; clean and comfortable.
Paris street noises start about six am. Choice of window open or quiet.
Too noisy in the rooms, I could hear everything. It was also very hot and stuffy in the rooms. If the window was open I could smell ciggerette smoke
The hotel victoria is located in an alley where several similar premises are operating. Both sides of the passage has iron gates which could be closed and security to be realized. The taxis which are transferring the tourists find it hard to disembark their customers due to double and unnecessary parking within the hotels zone.for the whole day there are weird people and bums hanging around within the alley. Thus a visitor feels insecure and disgusted with all the garbage and spat on the asphalt. The residing hotels can overcome this by stepping up security and cleanliness....
it was a good location but very noisy at night and early morning. You could hear the showers in each room and doors opening and closing.
Noisy at night and early morning. I could hear the doors opening and shutting. And the showers running.
Location Close to hop on hop off bus Close to lovely coffee shops
Shower head was not fixed Bathroom was quite dark with dark shower curtain Curtains were a bit old Wifi was only available in reception
Thumbs up for the cleaning lady (clean sheets and towels every day) for the hard but really good work. :) Nice area, close to subway, lot of shops around and places to eat, not so much traffic noise. Good price, comfy room, excelent water pressure for showering
The room was to small for that third bed (we were 2 this time, but I can imagine that there is no space, if there are 3 people sleeping in that room).
Personal know English very good. Old-school English :-) Good location Low price, as for Paris
Very small room, smallest shower with plastic curtain. Two small beds, I like one big bed :-(. In Paris, in the city of Love should be only big beds! :-)
The staff were lovely very helpful and very friendly. They spoke in English and even made funny jokes.
The shower was so small and with no light once the curtain was drawn so it was either shower in the dark or watch the water spill out on to the bathroom floor
Location. Free parking. Normal rooms for a fair price
Breakfast. But what can you expect for 6 euro's?
